Kristen Chong - Piano teacher

Kristen is a pianist based in Sydney. Music has always been a strong focus throughout her upbringing. Kristen showed interest in piano early on and started learning at the age of 5. She received her AMEB Certificate of Performance with Honours in 2014 and her Fourth Grade Musicianship with High Distinction in 2012. She now has over 5 years of teaching experience with students of all ages. Kristen studied at Newtown Performing Arts High School and briefly at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music which helped develop the skills she has as a musician and teacher. Kristen’s background in classical piano and contemporary voice gives her a broad understanding of different genres and is able to adapt to each student’s style and needs.
